The purpose of the Piedmont 'N Southern Model Railroad Club is to promote the hobby of model railroading through creation of an operating modular N-scale model railroad layout built to Ntrak and/or Bend Track and/or T-TRAK standards. This layout is intended to be displayed to the general public. We are a 100% NMRA club.
Our guys set up the T-Trak layout at NHC Mauldin on December 18, 2025. After some interesting challenges getting the layout leveled, it ran well. It was great being able to share the hobby and provide some entertainment for quite a few of the residents.
A great show in Easley Feb 14-15, 2025!
Some inclement weather brought in some great crowds! The layout ran as well as (or better than) it ever has. We also tried out our new "pit-less" module arrangement featuring the new inside corner modules. No issues, this was a great idea well-executed!
Our club was joined once again by the folks (and modules) from the North Georgia group at our favorite show in Easley. We had a great time, trains, tracks and electrical ran better than expected. We also had a sale table this time where we sold donated items plus some members' stuff. A nice fundraiser!
The PnS had a great time at the Greer RailFest 2023 event. We assembled and ran our T-Trak modules to the delight of the viewing public.
A great show in Easley, SC (Rock Springs Church Impact Center) on Feb 17-18, 2023. The show was very well-attended, with lots of interest from our visitors. We showcased our recent enhancements to the Turntable module (roundhouse lights and bridge programming). The Georgia guys brought a couple of great-looking new (to us) modules which also enhanced the running potential. Trains ran well. Had a couple of electronic head-scratchers but we were able to work around them in a timely fashion.
We enjoyed another great show in Easley at the Central Railway Model & Historical Association's annual event at the Rock Springs Impact Center February 18-19, 2022. The Athens guys brought a couple more modules, and the trains ran well.

We had a great time setting up and running our layout to share with the crowd at the Central Railway Model & Historical Association's annual event at the Rock Springs Impact Center in Easley on February 7-8. The show was well-attended both days, school was out and there was some snow falling! Our trains ran well and we had a great variety on display!
On October 4th-5th, 2019, we traveled to the WNC Ag Center to participate in the Autumn Rails Train Show, which is sponsored by the French Broad e'N'pire Ntrak club. We set up our regular loop.
